Richard Stuerman
Senior Project Manager
Joined BWBR in 1996
Richard holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder and has been at BWBR for 25 years. In that time he has managed diverse projects, from transportation facilities and corporate workplaces to schools and churches. He is talented at listening carefully to each client, sensing the essence of who they are and what they need, and then implementing a plan to provide built environments that not only are functional and efficient, but uniquely personify each client’s mission and identity.
“Growing up, I was told the house next door was designed by someone named Frank Lloyd Wright. I was inspired to be an architect after studying Wright in high school. Years later, I learned that house — the Slavin House — was actually designed by Richard Neutra. My initial assumption, however, set me on a path of something wonderful, and that path led to BWBR. Years later, I am still grateful for the opportunity to be part of this organization and do what I found inspiring back in high school.”
