BWBR Outreach and volunteering activities

BWBR is deeply committed to community outreach, volunteering, and mentoring the next generation of AEC professionals. Alongside our equity and sustainability efforts, this commitment is key to living up to our core values and purpose.

Community and Career Outreach

We’re proud to be involved with the ACE Mentor Program, designed to get high school students engaged and excited about architecture, construction, and engineering careers while continuing to diversify the profession and level the playing field. Over many years of involvement, we’ve been honored to support and mentor so many amazing students, providing them with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world projects.

Other career outreach initiatives include the annual BWBR Prize, the BWBR internship program, our annual equity scholarships, and participation in local youth career fairs.

Employee Volunteering

In addition to supporting rising professionals, BWBR is also committed to employee volunteering and provides quarterly opportunities to do so across each of our locations. Our employees are making a positive impact by donating to and volunteering at local food pantries, providing housing maintenance support through Hearts & Hammers, walking for organizations like March of Dimes and NAMI, and much more!

Giving back is an essential part of who we are as a firm, and we’re committed to making a positive impact in our local communities in any way that we can.
