BWBR Volunteering Opportunities Timeline graphic

At BWBR, we’re motivated by more than design. Mission-driven, we bring a desire to make our communities better for all who live here. Sometimes that takes the form of design. Other times, it appears in our labor and donations.

As a firm and as individuals, we seek to improve the quality of life in our communities, support programs and services that mirror the non-profits with whom we work, and foster the development of our profession. It’s a focus that has led to volunteer activities and donations at Hearts & Hammers, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and YWCA, among others.

Our philanthropy reminds us why we do what we do. More importantly, it helps us realize who we are as people living together.

In the past year, we have:

  • Participated in food collections, monetary donations, and volunteer food shelf stocking for Neighborhood House, YWCA, The River Food Pantry, and Food Bank for the Heartland.
  • Restored homes for Hearts & Hammers and Habitat for Humanity.
  • Raised awareness for local artists by visiting an exhibit at the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery.
  • Collected monetary donations for our Annual Giving Campaign supporting our local, non-profit communities.
