Kevin Gamelin

Senior Job Captain

Joined BWBR in 2015

Kevin has a successful track record of executing detailed designs for high complexity health care projects, including multi-phased renovations involving space reconfiguration and infrastructure or complex additions. Kevin is responsible for technical design aspects, working with the entire team to translate concepts into construction documents. He sees architecture as a tool to improve someone’s day and have the ability to make the most mundane, routine, or even stressful situations as pleasant as possible.

“In our profession, it seems most everyone says, ‘I wanted to be an architect as a little kid.’ I, myself, spent hours in the sandbox, building forts, or playing with Lego’s. Looking back, I realize it was about more than the architecture, though; rather, it was the ability to ‘play’ and have fun with the design process. Architecture should always improve someone’s day and have the ability to make the most mundane and routine tasks in our daily lives pleasant and enjoyable. It is important that we never lose that sense of fun and exploration in our lives and in our built environments.”
