“Born and raised in the Midwest, I’m a lake girl at heart. I spend the year boating with my family on Saylorville Lake or fishing with my husband. On the surface, these activities seem common, but to me they’re special because all five of my siblings and I can enjoy them together. This concept of togetherness and community is one that I strive for in interior design; providing communal connection points, balancing the needs of broad user groups, and comforting all user types in shared spaces.”
