“In fourth grade, I found models to be cool, sending me on my path towards architecture. What I didn’t know then was how cool my career would be for something other than models. To collaborate is what makes the practice of architecture meaningful for me – working with people to identify unique visions; with users, colleagues, and consultants to develop the specific needs of that vision; and with contractors to see that vision become reality. I haven’t built models since graduation, but I continue to find joy in our profession because of what we model as people.”
