“I have always been passionate about experiencing different cultures and helping people, and this led me to join the Peace Corps after earning my master’s degree in architecture. Living and working two years in a small northern Albanian town and traveling extensively throughout Europe and the Balkans, I experienced many different architectural styles from a wide range of places and time periods. The resilience, beauty, and character of those styles make me feel very fortunate to be able to contribute to the architecture of our time and place.”
