Kirsten Nalan
AIA, LEED® AP
Senior Project Architect

Joined BWBR in 2012

Kirsten is a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional with a successful track record of executing detailed designs for high complexity projects. Whether it’s a multi-phased renovation involving space reconfiguration and infrastructure or a new urban building complex, she excels at translating conceptual planning into project construction documents, coordinating between all design and engineering disciplines along the way.

“During my journey to become an architect I learned a lot more than just how to design buildings, detail, and assemble a set of construction documents; I learned to see beauty all throughout my everyday life. It has given me a greater appreciation for all the small designs in life that some people can take for granted: a pedestrian plaza at the ball park, the perfect wine bottle opener, or the cozy spot at a favorite coffee shop. Great design can be found all around us, and as an architect I hope to one day inspire someone to think just that about a space I helped to create.”
