“Architecture is my first love and my second life. Since I was very young, I’ve been aware of the built environment. My father, a contractor, used to take me to see his housing projects as they were under construction, and my older brother introduced me to photographs of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater. This early exposure to architecture left lasting impressions, helping me to imagine extraordinary facility designs as well as the framing and infrastructure necessary to ground them in reality.”
