“I’ve been inspired in my career by work on Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation projects and a quote from Viktor E. Frankl: ‘If you treat people to a vision of themselves…you make them become what they are capable of becoming.’ Many may not always see the connection between architecture and mental health, but we respond to the environments in which we heal, work, and live. If we can advocate for those with addictions and illness through healing architecture, we can give strength, support, and vision for people who are capable of more.”
