“As a former chemist, the question I am always asked is, 'why did you switch to architecture?' Having worked in various lab buildings, there was a lot of energy inefficiency, waste of materials and resources, and poorly designed lab spaces with very little natural light. While I have always loved science, my interest in solving those issues led me to architecture. It is incredibly rewarding to now play a part in designing spaces that foster scientific innovation, all while being sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing.”
