Top Projects of 2020, Finance & Commerce, Minnesota

SRF is a creative, growing consulting firm committed to improving the future of public infrastructure systems. Envisioning a new headquarters closer to downtown Minneapolis and recognizing the impact of office space as a recruiting tool, SRF collaborated with BWBR to design an engaging, modern workplace. The relocated headquarters offers a fresh take on workplace environments, inviting people to connect and innovate within a unified culture.

BWBR collected workplace data to understand SRF’s existing workstyles and strategize how and where the company wanted to work in the future. The resulting design interweaves collaboration areas into the larger workstation layout, creating destinations that draw people together and enhance visual interest. This strategy also improves workplace equity by offering equal access to daylight, a variety of workstyles, and office amenities.

The design celebrates the SRF brand and identity through a fresh, inviting, and vibrant workplace community. Graphic design elements refer to SRF’s range of work as abstracted expressions, and an overall neutral palette is activated by bold dark and light contrasts with pops of branded color accents.
