“Growing up outside a small town in central Minnesota, I spent most of my time playing sports. It didn’t matter the sport, I just loved the energy and excitement of it all. As I got older and the level of competition increased, I quickly realized that in order to be successful, my focus had to be on planning and preparation rather than the end result. That concept has had a large impact on how I live my life and how I approach the field of architecture. By focusing on the process, the product will take care of itself.”
