Eagle Brook Church – Lino Lakes

Lino Lakes, Minn.

The BWBR team gathered members of the congregation together for brainstorming and vision sessions. From the sessions emerged the language that guided the site selection and development: non-traditional, inviting, exciting and excellence.

The vision grew into Eagle Brook Church, an airy, modern facility resembling a convention center, with comfortable, theater-like stadium seating instead of pews in the worship space and a variety of space to support the specialized social services and educational opportunities that are the hallmark of Eagle Brook. With 28 acres of prairie grass and thousands of plantings, the campus reflects the work of nine separate subcommittees who participated in the process and built consensus among church members.

Size: 85,000 sq. ft.

Components: 2,100-seat worship space, expandable to 2,800 seats; two-story atrium; education space; retail; 719-stall parking lot with dedicated motorcycle parking

Completion: 2005
