How often are your employment opportunities updated?

We update our job openings on a weekly basis.

Is BWBR offering any summer internships?
Each year we have several students join us for the summer. Some even remain with us on a part-time basis through the school year. See the employment opportunities page for current openings.

How do I apply for employment?

I submitted my resume, what should I do next?
If your skills and experience match one of our openings, we will call to arrange an interview. Otherwise, we will send you a letter and retain your resume for one year to match against future openings.

I have an interview at BWBR. How do I find your office and where should I park?
We are located on St. Peter Street between 5th and 6th Streets, across from Rice Park and Landmark Center. See the map for directions to our office and parking info.

Benefits

Does BWBR offer a flexible work schedule?
Yes, our office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Employees may establish their own 8-hour workday within that time frame.

How soon after I begin employment will my health insurance kick in?
Provided the necessary enrollment form has been completed, health insurance would begin the first of the month following thirty days of employment. For example, if your first day of employment was March 12th, you would be eligible for health insurance May 1st.

What other benefits does BWBR provide?
In addition to health insurance, BWBR provides flexible spending accounts for medical reimbursement, daycare and parking expenses. We also provide a profit sharing and 401(k) plan, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, a bereavement policy, and an employee assistance program.

What is BWBR's paid time-off policy?
During the first year of employment, both salaried and hourly employees accrue paid time-off at five hours per biweekly pay period. As your time with BWBR expands, so does the amount of paid time-off accrued.

What is your dress code policy?
We are proud of our tradition of a more professional business dress standard. Appropriate business attire is the norm for most BWBR staff on Mondays through Thursdays, while Friday is our business casual day.

What is the BWBR social mentor program?

We want anyone starting a new job at BWBR to feel welcome and a part of our team from day one. So we appoint a “social mentor” to serve as an office orientation resource for you on your first day and down the road.

What types of projects does BWBR work on?
We provide architecture and interior design services for a broad range of building types. See the markets and services pages for more details.

Where will I park if I join your firm?
There are many commuting options available. Because we are in downtown St. Paul, the bus transit system is very convenient. There are also many parking lots in the vicinity.

How big is the firm?
We have close to 150 employees.

Does BWBR have multiple locations?

No, we have one location in the heart of downtown St. Paul.

What’s your technology setup?
BWBR is committed to using state-of-the-art technology both as a design and project presentation tool and for operations and support.
