Windows to the future
Much as science itself builds on history but is always moving forward, the McCollum Addition’s design team was peering into the building’s future throughout the design process.

Responding to the “windows” theme for the Addition project and anticipating the original building’s future renovation plans, the exterior lines and placement of windows lend themselves to an easy and graceful extension of the original facility when the time comes.

When it does, the Addition’s state-of-the-art interior will push out through the historic exterior, extend into the original facilities as they are renovated, and embrace the future.
