The floor plan also integrates seamlessly with the corridors of
the existing building – creating a looped perimeter circuit
that balances the circulation flow and promotes a variety of travel
paths and interaction opportunities.
A two-level expansion of the Greenhouse adds research, display
and reception space. Linked to the Addition by a tunnel on the first
level, below grade, this provides an indoor connection for transferring
plants to the Biology labs and visually ties the Greenhouse to the
McCollum facilities as well.
