Fitting into the neighborhood …
The resulting design reflects the teamwork between the project’s multiple players – and the design fits nicely into the streetscape of Rice Park. It is both economical and high-tech, and boasts an efficient layout. Yet it is also contextual and elegant, enhancing and reflecting the character of the Rice Park District.

A camera perched across the street captured the construction’s progress, from the demolition work begun in early 1998 through to the project’s completion in late 1999. To see the time-lapsed video animation, click here.
