Lawson Commons, home to Minnesotas largest software
developer, Lawson Software, is comprised of much more than square
feet and building materials. The Lawson Commons story is a tale
of innovation, enthusiasm, creativity. Above all, its a story
of partnerships and cooperation among an array of people whose visions
combined to create something more significant than "just"
a building and a ramp. Sited on a full block in the historic Rice
Park district of downtown St. Paul, the project, which began in
early 1997, involved several different players each with
different needs.
"The addition of Lawson Software
to downtown St. Paul is the result of years of hard work by many
people ... it will spur economic growth and development which is
key to our revitalization efforts." Former St.
Paul Mayor Norm Coleman
