Commons, viewed from Rice Park |

From clients to developers, the project teams united goal
for Lawson Commons was to successfully incorporate history with
technology, to create something bigger than a building and bring
a new story to St. Paul. Were we successful? The reactions speak
for themselves:
"A first-class addition to the city scene
... the complex strikes just the right note for its site, combining
new and traditional elements in a way that is particularly appropriate
given Lawson Commons location at the edge of Rice Park, downtowns
most elegant precinct ... The design is simple and clean ... It
all adds up to an uncommonly elegant and gracious work of street
architecture one of the best things of its kind to appear
in downtown St. Paul in many a moon." Larry Millett, Architecture Critic, St. Paul Pioneer
