The employees quality of life drove the design of the L-shaped
office building. Large windows provide natural light and views of
the Capitol, the Saint Paul Cathedral, and downtown Saint Paul,
letting employees reconnect with the day. Wide corridors, or interior
streets, lead to community interaction zones that
support communication and comfort, such as conference rooms, coffee
bars, lounge seating, and a cantilevered atrium. Flexible workstations
allow users to convert three offices into two with minimal disruption
to neighbors. An underfloor air distribution system provides each
employee with clean air and temperature control.
