While combining my interests in design and construction first attracted me to architecture, I have discovered a more vital component: people. Whatever the project, I find working with the people who will use the facility interesting and it makes for a better process and results. It’s a bit like fly fishing: Finding the river, the fish and casting the fly is as important as the aha moment — which is like that moment clients have when they see the solution and get just as hooked on design as I am.
