In 1961, the Degree of Honor building became BWBR’s first major project in downtown St. Paul, the first large St. Paul office building since the Depression, and the first air conditioned building in St. Paul. Traditions that continue to foster our relationships and mark our “family culture” today were begun – like the staff holiday party with its exchange of handcrafted gag gifts, a summer picnic and golf outing, fall trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and more.
