The prize is awarded through a two-step process that parallels the “real world” process clients often use to select a design firm. Selection criteria are effective organization, thoroughness, design merit, and communication skills.
Faculty invites selected third-year students to display their work. Two or more BWBR representatives then visit the campus and shortlist several finalists.
The finalists visit BWBR’s St. Paul offices to present their work to a panel of jurors in an interview setting.
