Design to support healing and wellness
Medical facilities today are a complex and unique blend of environments and services. Aesthetics and services affect a hospital’s or clinic’s ability to compete as much as medical competence.

Modern health care facilities focus beyond physical wellness to consider the “whole patient” in the healing process – including spiritual, emotional and social needs. Health care professionals understand that treating an illness is only one step in building a comprehensive caregiving relationship with patients, their families and the community. Likewise, designers realize that architectural elements and interior design can play an important role in reinforcing the healing philosophy of a medical facility. While this has always been true, it is a more exciting time than ever to be designing medical facilities.
